It seems w is й russian:

and it correlates with russian и looking like u
So are й and w the same letter? is that v on top of и the v on top of u, thus being w?



Why does georgian o looks like u? It reminds me of how ע looks like у[russian u]
And that confusion of u & i may say that i is not of e, but of u somehow? or are they both of i? both ю and e palatalize. (vol.51)
