A reminds Д and a reminds
д and I meet the eery similarity
between the two on many levels (probably some of them are caused
on similarity between a and d and then the misreading multiplied
from there)
Notice how a and r use the D shape, it also links this file to
R~D

(R looking like D) and the next image made me pay attention to
both signs in reverse being A (and that is A~D controversy)
And there's another interesting interpreation of those signs:

But that controversy is a part of the larger one:
Old Persian:
𐎠 a
𐎭 d
D of the demon
A of the angel
Cherokee's A looks like D: Ꭰ.
and their ko/go looks like A: Ꭺ.
(why would Sequoia invented a syllabary, when they met
alphabets? Whether Cherokee understood what their syllables
meant (and then they still should) or it was an indigenous
writing system, existing before europeans. And the legend was
needed to justify that those exterminated peoples are savages.
Knorozov was fearing arrest, when he presented his discovery,
because Engels himself said that aborigens of the Americas had
no writing system.
