to squeal = скулить
(it works with non-cognatic pairs too)

by me = мной

but it would be weird to translate by pushkin as пушкиным, even though it's written пушкиным, but the context is different, russians need the verb, and yet they laught that english needs auxilary verbs where they don't. in russian this by is often translated with -а: a poem by pushkin = поэма пушкина
